#VisualizeWorship Challenge

 In Projects, Workshop

People have been getting outside more than ever on walks, hikes, and in parks.  We love how pastor Rick’s called us to get outside everyday and recognize the beauty of what God created

Our Hope in posting #VisualizeWorship:

-To fill social media with The natural beauty God designed and positive uplifting images and messages

-To encourage people to see their outdoor experiences as a way to connect to God and observe the beauty he created

-If enough people post, we could share the images during a worship set

Steps:

  1. Get outside and explore
  2. Get inspired by the beauty God created
  3. Take a photo
  4. Leave it as is, or add scripture/words of encouragement
  5. Post it on Facebook or Instagram with the #VisualizeWorship
Pastor Rick wrote our congregation recently and said this:

“One of the greatest ways to learn about the character of God is to spend time with what he created. During this pandemic I want to challenge you to get outside every day. […] I guarantee if you spend more time in nature, God will speak to you! The wind will speak of his power, the colors will express his creativity, the birds will declare his love. God will reveal himself to you if you look at what he created.

When God made people, he put them in a garden! Being in nature not only reduces your stress, but it also allows you to hear God’s voice and see his attributes.”

— Rick Warren

“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible attributes – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, because they are understood through what has been made. So people are without excuse.”
