A Sacred Tether
Kirsten Van Mourick’s art exhibit, A Sacred Tether is currently showing at the gallery in the foyer of Saddleback Lake Forest’s Worship Center.
Van Mourick, an MFA graduate of the Laguna College of Art and Design says the purpose of this exhibit is to “display the connection between the earthly and ethereal, that unseen sacramental tether.” That connection can be seen through the use of gold leaf on much of her artwork along with the use of mundane, everyday subjects and situations.
A Sacred Tether will be on display through the month of June 2016. For more information on the artist go to http://www.vanmostudio.com.
