Saddleback’s 2014 seven-week series, Transformed is about the ways God changes us. This gallery show was formed out of this theme to come alongside the church-community in this season. From the images and words of photographer Andrew Abajian, the Transformed exhibit tells stories of hope and change in Rwanda as a result of The PEACE Plan’s impact. Each photograph is paired with one of the seven ways God transforms us to give new perspective to the changes you can experience in your life. Through reading Andrew’s personal entries that accompany each photo, it becomes clear that the transformation in Rwanda is not one-sided—this nation has positively changed our life stories too.
Andrew James Abajian is a West Coast-based, fine-art, wedding, humanitarian, and lifestyle photographer and filmmaker. Abajian earned his B.A. in Film from Vanguard University of Southern California in 2007. His diverse work experience includes humanitarian shoots around the globe, teaching photography to kids with dyslexia, fashion look books, music videos, short documentary films, and weddings throughout Southern California.
