Beyond The Ruins is the third major series of Bryn’s Gillette’s Haitian work, spanning the four years of labor, travel, prayer, and conversation since the 2010 earthquakes. Bryn’s hope is to use the tour and sale of this series as a means to deepen and broaden concern for Haiti’s restoration. These paintings are simply doorways into a greater conversation, drawing his audience into a redemptive dialog envisioning a Haiti-Beyond The Ruins.
