In this interactive art piece we were recognizing the fact that we all have junk in our lives, but Jesus offers to put all that behind us and make us alive together with him. If we let Jesus take our junk and put him at the center, we get to experience the vibrant colors of new life that he offers us through his victory over death.
“Immense in mercy and with an incredible love, he embraced us. He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Christ.” Ephesians 2:4–5a (msg)
Interaction
On this Easter weekend at Saddleback, anyone and everyone coming out of the services were invited to freely express themselves on the bright white letters with in bright, vibrant colors and a painting tool of their choice. Throughout the 11 Easter services here at Lake Forest, the letters transitioned into several different vibrant expressions of color and life. Easter Alive was all about expressing the journey from death to new life in physical form.
